| PCP's Spyder X20 rig is entirely digital throughout the signal path;
consequently there is NO signal degradation from source to display.
As a result, the displayed image quality is absolutely excellent. Even with digital processors and projectors, if the signal between these units is analogue there has to be analogue-to-digital (AD) and digital-to-analogue (DA) conversions in the signal path. Each time a signal passes though a convertor some quality is inevitably lost and a processing delay introduced. |

| The photo above shows a typical set up with 3 x 1920.1200 outputs for a wide screen; two channels of confidence monitors; a scaled output of the main screen (for recording and distribution around plasmas etc); a source input monitor; and an operator's monitor. Including the wide screen computers the entire system is under 5m wide. |
