The master station can power two rings of about 12 outstations. If this needs to
be increased a power supply can be added to boost the ring. Signals such as show
feed can be added to the master station.
Wired belt pack with various headsets are available for different situations.
These can be open for easy listening or closed to cut out ambient noise. Dual
channel belt packs can listen to two channels at once, for example show comms
and camera comms.
Four wireless outstations will be available soon. The users will be able to
speak and listen at the same time unlike some alternative systems.
Telephone adapters
Should the crew at two sites need to talk to each other, two systems can
be linked via a telephone system with these units, be it two rooms in
one building or different countries. It works with any telephone with a
4 pin handset connector and some mobile phones.
Radios
De-regulated radio walkie-talkies are stocked that are legal throughout
Europe.
Quality and range varies from excellent to unusable.
These come with a selection of headsets, mics, earpieces etc. and run off
disposable batteries to avoid the 'it-needs-charging' problem.
